UNREACHED COMMUNITIES, VILLAGES & TOWNS
“Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. 36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. 38 Ask [pray] the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” Jesus - (Matthew 9:35-38)
As a district, we are praying regularly for the Lord to “send out workers” into dozens of new neighborhoods across the greater Chicago area. There are 167 communities, villages and towns with a 10,000+ population within the Chicago Central District where we do not have a mission point or a church. If the Lord lays it on your heart to start a Bible study or small group (mission point) in one of these unreached communities or neighborhoods, please contact us.
