CHURCH PLANTING STAGES

The fourth stage of the church planting process is to BUILD a launch team. Now that the plan has been “created,” the church planter can put the plan to action by building the team and launching preparations. This includes building the team, vision casting, beginning community engagement, planning the launch, and raising funds.

Requesting Funds

The Chicago Central District has an endowment that was created to help plant new churches in the district. Every year, there is a designated amount that is available to help a few churches launch. Once a detailed plan has been developed, a church planter can complete the attached form to request funds. This request will be reviewed by the District Ministry Strategy Team and funds may be allocated depending on availability and the plan.
