Our 2025 District Assembly is in the books—and what a meaningful, joy-filled time it was! We began Friday night with a powerful celebration service featuring the Proclamation Gospel Choir, honored our retiring ministers, and recognized those newly licensed for ministry. Our District Superintendent shared his report reflecting on the good things God has been doing across our district and offered a heartfelt challenge to cultivate a deeper passion for the lost.
Saturday morning began with the business of the Assembly, but it was far from routine—we heard inspiring reports from our boards and committees that reminded us of God’s faithfulness. Daryl Cripe then brought a timely and powerful challenge, calling us to seek after the one…until…echoing the heart of Christ for the lost. Altars were lined as individuals brought the name of their one person they feel God is calling them to engage in relationship and committing to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit as they do.
We ended our time together on Saturday afternoon with the sacred service of ordination, celebrating six ordinands. It was a beautiful weekend of worship, vision, and unity as we continue moving forward together as a district. Here are some resources coming out of our time together!
